Who we are...
Kid2Kid is a registered Canadian charity based in Toronto, Ontario, with a simple but powerful belief: kids have the power to change the world for other kids.
Since our founding in 2019, we have created hands-on opportunities for children to give back to their peers in meaningful, tangible ways through volunteering, fundraising, and entrepreneurship. Our initiatives teach kindness, generosity, and entrepreneurial skills, while making a direct difference in the lives of children in need.
To date, Kid2Kid's efforts have supported thousands children and raised more than $75,000 with steady growth every single year since we started. What began as two moms with an idea has grown into a thriving community of seven dedicated leaders, dozens of youth volunteers, and a community that shows up, year after year, to prove that generosity is contagious.
Kid2Kid supports registered Canadian charities and nonprofit organizations whose programs that serve children and youth under the age of 18. We seek partnerships with sponsors, donors, grantmakers, and community organizations.
Kid2Kid is guided by a dedicated Leadership Committee of seven passionate moms who are the driving force behind everything we do. Together, they bring diverse skills and shared values to the table contributing to fundraising, event organization, and the overall governance of our organization. Their collective commitment ensures that Kid2Kid operates with purpose, accountability, and heart, and that every initiative we deliver makes a meaningful impact in the lives of children in our community.

Hi, I'm Shah, proud mom to Caspian and Boston and wife to my sweetie, Alan. And I am the co-founder of Kid2Kid.
I am passionate about creating opportunities that bring people together while making a meaningful impact. When I'm not working on Kid2Kid initiatives, you can often find me designing jewellery, spending time in nature, learning something new, reading, or connecting with family and friends.
With over 20 years of experience in fundraising, event planning, marketing, communications, and community engagement, I have spearheaded the development and delivery of community fundraising events and initiatives benefiting organizations such as the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation, Free the Children, Greenwood Foundation, Free-Them, and programs supporting unhoused individuals across Toronto.
One day, Caroline asked me if I knew of any volunteer opportunities that would help her daughter see firsthand how her efforts could make a difference. That conversation inspired us to create hands-on experiences that allow kids to help kids, and from that idea, Kid2Kid was born.

Hi! I'm Caroline, co-founder of Kid2Kid and mom of two. Kid2Kid was born from a simple but powerful question: how do we raise children who intrinsically want to invest time and energy into helping others?
Professionally, I work as a certified professional coach and Human Resources consultant, specializing in leadership development, organizational training, and bringing out the best in people. I hold designations as a Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP), a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach (CPCC), and a Professional Certified Coach (PCC), and I bring that same belief in human potential to everything we do at Kid2Kid.
Whether we're packing backpacks, running the Kids' Marketplace, or watching a shy eight-year-old discover they can make a real difference, I'm reminded why this work matters.
