On Saturday, May 30, the Beaches Recreation Centre was buzzing with energy as more than 200 young entrepreneurs gathered for our annual Kids’ Marketplace. The event was a tremendous success, bringing together young business owners, families, volunteers, and community members for a day of learning, creativity, and giving back. Event Day Details On Saturday, May 30, 2026, more than 200 youth entrepreneurs will come together at the Beaches Recreation Centre (6 Williamson Road) for the fourth annual Kids’Marketplace. Vendor arrival time is between 10:45AM and 11:00AM. Please do not arrive later than 11:15AM, as we need the market fully set up and ready for guests by 11:25AM. On Saturday June 1, over 100 youth entrepreneurs filled the Beaches Recreation Centre with their creativity and enthusiasm while selling a variety of items. Vendors sold baked goods, hand-crafted soap, accessories including hats, keychains and bracelets, just to name a few (scroll to the end of this post for lots of vender photos and checkout the Beach Metro article).
