Got Your Back: Winter Care Totes

On February 22, our Kid2Kid community came together once again for another Got Your Back backpacking event, this time packing winter care totes for children currently staying at the Red Door Family Shelter in Leslieville.

A huge thank you to every young volunteer who showed up with energy, kindness, and a willingness to help. Together, the group carefully packed totes filled with thoughtful essentials to support kids and families during the colder months. It was inspiring to see so many young people working side by side, learning about community care while making a real and meaningful difference for children in need.

We would also like to give a special shout-out to Ted Reeve’s Thunder Team for joining us and bringing such great spirit to the day. Your participation helped make the event even more special.

A heartfelt thank you goes to the Beaches Recreation Centre for always creating a welcoming space where our community can come together—especially when it comes to supporting initiatives that give back.
