Event Day Details
On Saturday, May 30, 2026, more than 200 youth entrepreneurs will come together at the Beaches Recreation Centre (6 Williamson Road) for the fourth annual Kids’Marketplace.
Vendor arrival time is between 10:45AM and 11:00AM. Please do not arrive later than 11:15AM, as we need the market fully set up and ready for guests by 11:25AM.
If you are driving, street parking may be available nearby.

To Do Prior to Event Day
1. Get Featured on Kid2Kid Social Media
If you would like your business featured on our Kid2Kid Instagram or Facebook pages before the market, feel free to send us photos of your products, signage, packaging, or even yourself if your parents are comfortable with this. We would love to help promote your business and encourage guests to visit your booth on market day. Shoot us an email with your photos: beacheskid2kid@gmail.com
2. Invite Your Community
Please share the Kids’ Marketplace invitation (included below) with family, friends, neighbours, teachers, and community members to help support youth entrepreneurs.
There is something for everyone at the event, including a BBQ by Fearless Meat, treats, toys, face painting, a kids’ play area, an adult lounge, police officers and their cruiser, and live performances by Sugar Rush Band and Abanico Dance.
Please remind your guests to bring cash.

3. Share Our Online Silent Auction
We also encourage all vendors to share the link to our online silent auction.
One hundred percent of the money raised through the silent auction supports children in need across Canada, including children currently staying at Red Door Family Shelter in Leslieville.

4. Additional Marketing Opportunity
Vendors interested in helping promote the Kids’ Marketplace by distributing Kid2Kid postcard invitations to family, friends, neighbours, or nearby streets are encouraged to email us for postcard pickup details.
What to Bring
Please bring:
A business sign approximately 8.5” x 11” (you can draw your business name/logo by hand or create it on a computer)
A float with change including loonies, toonies, and $5 bills (this can be an empty shoe box, a toy cash register, a change purse, or anything else that can safely hold money)
A clear price list for your products or services
Optional items include:
A tablecloth
Promotional materials such as business cards
Noise-cancelling headphones if preferred
If you have a picture frame at home, you are welcome to place your business sign inside it and display it on your table. Otherwise, you can tape it directly to your table using tape we will provide.

Set-Up Information
When you arrive, please look for a volunteer wearing a white Kid2Kid logo t-shirt. They will guide you to your booth space.
You will also receive access to a floor plan before the event. Please note that one of the maps provided is only intended for use in the event of rain.
At your booth, you will find a Welcome Kit Ziplock bag containing:
Vendor lanyards to wear during the event
A pencil
A post-event form
Please return all of these items at the end of the event inside the ziplock bag.
Vendor Booth Information
Each vendor will receive:
A 3’ x 3’ section on a shared 6’ x 3’ table (you will be beside one or two other vendors, which is a great opportunity to make a new friend and support each other’s businesses). Please refer to the photos of last years market for an idea.
One chair
***Food vendors are kindly asked to wear gloves or use tongs while serving food items.***
***If customers require cash during the event, the nearest ATM is located at Queen Street East and Lee Avenue at TD Bank.***
Event Wrap-Up
At 2 PM, vendors will begin counting their earnings (please do not leave early).
Vendors keep 50% of total sales, while the remaining 50% supports Kid2Kid initiatives and children’s charities.
Please note that the 50% contribution is based on total sales revenue, not profit after expenses.
Once your earnings have been counted, please place the following back into your ziplock bag:
The donation amount
Your completed form
Vendor badges/lanyards
Shah or Caroline (pictured below) will come around to collect your ziplock bag, or vendors may hand it in directly.
